I live in a small community in Southern Moreton bay on Lamb Island. With a population of only 350, it is a tight knit community where people work together. I am involved with my Village Rural Fire Brigade as Crew Leader and also as treasurer of the Brigade for the last 4 years. My previous home was on the busy Gold Coast where I learned the Broking business by going far and wide to service my clients.
With better technology to deal with paperwork, processes have been streamlined but it is still my job to get out and see my clients face to face and to get to know their needs and goals.
My broking business is more than a job, it’s a lifestyle and I am always available to service my clients needs.
My background and career covers a lot of ground. I have been self employed in one form or another since I was 22 years old.
I have owned and operated a number of small businesses including Offset Print for 16 years and a supermarket for 3 years. I have also worked in print sales and marketing and have 3 years experience within the Real Estate industry with First National Real Estate NZ .
My experience in the finance industry in Australia spans over 12 years.
I started with Aussie Home Loans back in 2001 and was there for almost 6 years as a senior Aussie consultant, before opening my own brokerage in the Q1 Building on the Gold Coast.
With my experience of small business and a keen understanding of the factors that small business owners are affected by, I have great empathy for the small business person.
I have helped many first home buyers enter the market over the years, and always made a point of giving the inexperienced, quality tips and pointers on the processes of buying a property and how to deal with Real Estate people to get the right deal for my client.
I always go the extra mile and share any knowledge I have that will be of benefit to my clients when buying or selling property. I have good knowledge of the investor market in Australia and in particular the Brisbane region, and have helped many clients to start their investment portfolio.
